Set along the banks of Lake Pehoé, Explora Patagonia is an all-inclusive luxury experience in the heart of Torres del Paine.
The lodge’s warm wooden interiors and floor-to-ceiling windows blend seamlessly into the rugged landscape, giving you breathtaking views of the park’s jagged peaks and turquoise waters.

Explora Patagonia Hotel
Note: Staying at Explora isn’t cheap at all. Rates typically start around $2,500+ per person for a 3-night stay, which includes meals, drinks, and guided excursions. It’s definitely a splurge stay, but worth it if you want an all-inclusive adventure in one of the most scenic places on Earth.
For a less luxurious but (much!) more budget-friendly option, stay at Hosteria Pehoé, one of the cheapest places to stay in Torres del Paine with equally epic views of Lake Pehoé.
Tip: Even if you’re not staying at Explora, you can still explore the iconic boardwalk at Lake Pehoé, which leads to one of the most beautiful and easily accessible viewpoints in Torres del Paine. The boardwalk is public – just park in the parking lot and walk up the hill!

Camping at the Refugios and Campgrounds in Torres del Paine National Park
If you’re hiking the W Trek or O Circuit, you’ll want to stay at a refugio or campground. They’re by far the most convenient places to stay in the park while you’re on the trail.
Refugios are comfy little mountain huts with bunk-style dorms (usually for 6–8 people). The campsites at the refugios have tents, hot showers, and communal dining areas where you can swap trail stories with other hikers.
You can book meals for an extra fee that include breakfast, dinner, and packed lunches for the trail, which is nice if you don’t want to worry about carrying a bunch of food.
Bedding is also provided. We were plenty warm at night with what they gave us for tent camping, but we ran into a few people who brought their own sleeping bags for extra warmth.

Tip: If you opt for tent camping, you can book a bunch of options through Las Torres for all kinds of budgets.
